Read the scriptures, Repentance, and Prayer

Hey mama!

I am so happy to hear that you had a good week! I had a good week too! I was super super nervous at the beginning. like wow. I was going to be basically running a sector. I was super nervous. I had my fave zone leader give me a blessing on tuesday in our meeting. And it was just too perfect. I could tell he was a little nervous. But he said exactly what i needed to hear and I was so so so comforted and I had a great week because of it. So I would just like to testify that the priesthood is so real. I can't doubt the priesthood for even a second. The priesthood is the power of God and with it we can do anything! I had a good week this week in Jipijapa. I know this city so well. The people know me. I know what I'm doing. Its been a nice confidence boost to say the least. My companion is learning the sector really fast. So thats awesome. She is super great, super patient, and an Awesome teacher. And she thinks I'm hilarious. he he. We are already working super well together and teaching with a lot of unity. We had loootsss of lessons this week. We are just working our butts off to find new investigators. Its hard. But we are doing good work here and working lots with less actives. We will be rescuing two less actives this month and I am just soooooooo excited. My first rescues!! woooooooooo

We are teaching a less active family, the familia Quiroz, and they are super awesome. Norma the mom is just the cutest little lady and her husband is super wellknown in Jipijapa because he makes and fixes shoes. Literally any shoe he can fix. He's dope. But yeah so we are teaching them and their two sons Jacob and Ismael. Both great. we are gonna rescue Ismael this month. hes hilarious. and he is gonna start preparing for a mission! WOOOOOOO

Here is a spiritual thought for you all this week. Something that President and Hermana Dennis keep telling us is that "Vienen Tempestades". Storms are coming. This is super profound for me I dont know why. I just think it is super super SUPER important that we are always always prepared. Physically and spiritually. Things are coming. Worldy things. Things from Satan. We live in an unpredictable world folks. No one knows whats coming. But this life is a time to prepare. I would suggest three things. Reading the Scriptures, Repentance, and Prayer. Keep yourselves Ready! VIENEN TEMPESTADES! That is all okay love you. te he he

We are going to have a special conference next week only for the hermanas so I will get to see Hermana Pugh again!! WOOO can't wait. Also this week there is a special devotional only for missionaries. WOW I can't even explain how excited I am. YA YA YA

Wow my mama is going to be a missionary! Here is my advice for you and Luke. When you are in the lesson, and after the first prayer, make sure you share the thoughts that come to your mind. They are not your thoughts. the second you guys say that prayer and start your lesson, it's the spirit. Always share what you feel. ALWAYS. I'm proud of you guys!!!

Hey maybe in the next package you send me could you put in some cool pens and band aids and if you can mascara? The kind I like is in a black and red container. Its like Turbo Blast or something like that. And waterproof. Please waterproof. It rains a lot. hahahah THANK YOU.
