Hi mama!
I am super excited to hear from you this week. I just needed a little something from my mama. I miss you a lot.
I do have a new companion! her name is Hermana Espinoza and she is from Peru! She has 14 months in the mission and this is her fourth area. Im excited to work with her. She has a lot of experience. shes super quiet and timid with me right now but i hope we warm up to each other and that this will work out good. I know that the Lord has us together for a reason. So I am excited to find out what that reason is! I am definitely going to miss Hermana Pugh though. She became my bff so itll be hard to be away from her. But shes not dead. I'll see her again soon. She is gonna be in Guayaquil now. Nice and HOT there he he he.
I had a few moments this week where I was stressing and I was super down on myself and I just felt super weak. Totally normal don't worry. But I am happy to say that not only does my Heavenly Father LOVE me, he is always there for me in my moments of weakness. Always. He never leaves me lonely. And he is basically just holding my hand and walking with me everywhere I go. He is working through other people to help me. When I am having a bad day or a bad lesson, he ALWAYS helps me to feel better. Whether its a cute little kid running up and saying hi to me, or me remembering that I have cookies in my bag, or I remember a word I was studying, whatever it is, his hand is every where I go. and the same goes for you guys! its easy for me to see the Lord's hand because its all I have! But I want to challenge you guys to look for the Lord's hand in everything you do! I promise you it's there more than you think.
I finished the Book of Mormon for the first time in Spanish this week. All the way done. ALL IN SPANISH. Awesome right. At the beginning i could not understand a thing. But I can honestly say that now I do. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. It's something I have a very very very strong testimony of and I always look forward to when I can share my testimony of the Book of Mormon with people. I love the Book of Mormon. I really really do.
I was impressed this week to invite one of our investigators to be baptized. It was the first time I've really felt that impression and it was so strong and powerful. The spirit is so so so real. Gregorio excepted to be baptized! we just have to work through some problems. But I am just praying that it'll work out and that I can have a baptism here!! How cool would that be!
