HELLO MY MOTHER
Well, surprise! Here is my letter for you this week on a Wednesday, how odd. hahaha so what happened is that we had a special conference this week just for the hermanas in Guayaquil! So we left super early Monday morning and we got back late last night. So I'm two days behind he he. Hope you weren't too distraught. I know I was hahaha. Thank you for the big long email. that was very comforting to receive. Oh how I love you mother of mine.
The conference was sooooooooo cool. Just the hermanas. All of the Hermana leaders spoke. There are 11 out of us like 30 or something I don't know. I was super cool to get to hear from them. Especially because they weren't assigned topics. So it was like inspirational x12. I got to go work in guayaquil for a few hours yesterday too. Guayaquil is so so so so different from Jipijapa. It makes me love Jipijapa so much more.
Last week we got to watch a special broadcast to all the missionaries in the world. It was literally the coolest thing. Elder Bednar spoke. #blessed. He spoke about how we are literally the instruments in God's hands. And that we can't do anything, literally anything, without the spirit. He is a great inspired man.
I have been doing really good. Proud to report that the spanish is coming along great and I feel really good about it. I have a long way to go. But I am hoping to be near fluent by my 6 months. That's my goal. I think I can do it but it's going to take a lot of studying and praying.
I am so happy to hear that you are studying so hard and that is showing so much. You make me very proud mother dear.
