Todo saldra bien- Everything will be okay

We received a package full of letters from Mikayla this week. It was so great to hear from her and see the pictures she sent. I want to share a little bit of the letter she sent our family. It echoes exactly how we feel with her being gone this Christmas. Here are her words:

"Merry Christmas my dear sweet family! Wow I just love you guys so much never forget it! Although I definitely wish I could be with you guys for Christmas, believe me I really wish I could, I know we are being blessed because of this mission. We are all gonna be okay. One of my favorite phrases is Spanish is "todo saldra bien"=Everything will be okay. Write this in the fridge and never forget it.

As I'm sure you have noticed I've included our cute little pass along card for Christmas! The say "Ha Nacido un Salvador" basically means A Savior has been born." On the back is says Find out why. If you haven't already, watch the video the church has posted online. It's Awesome. This Christmas I want you guys to really focus on the why we celebrate Christmas. Why was the Savior born? What are you going to give HIM this Christmas?

I'm going to give my Savior my time and attention to learning more about his atonement and how I can apply it more in my life. Guys he did so much for us. Because of him we can repent and be forgiven, be resurrected and live together as a family for eternity. Do you even realize how cool that is? I want you guys to know how much I love every single one of you. I hope I am making you proud. Have a wonderful Christ-filled Christmas!

I hope whenever you hear Feliz Navidad you think of me. You know that's my favorite!

Love,
Hermana Parker"

We are so proud of our missionary and even though we missed her so much, we know she is doing the Lord's work. I know he is watching over her and is happy with her service. So we know todo saldra bien, everything will be okay this Christmas without her. Thank you all for your love and support of Mikayla. She has said many times she can feel all the prayers.

We echo her wish, that you and your families have a Christ-filled Christmas this year!

Love,
The Parkers
