Fun phrase of the week: Pase lo que pase

Hey mama!

Well I am officially one week into the trio! its very different! But it is good for my spanish so I am just trying to make the most of it! We had some AWESOME lessons this week! We had a lesson with a very sweet lady who is no joke the latina version of Makenzie. So obviously I love her. She is super nice and her house is decorated SO cute for Christmas! Also, I met an 11 year old genius this week who is already into his 2nd semester in the University. no big deal right. We are teaching the COOLEST family ever. I think I might have mentioned them already but I'm going to mention them again. Carmen and Juan are menos activos and the have 5 non member kids. We are teaching two of their kids Juan Pablo and Kevin and they are SSOOOOO great. They both know that Joseph Smith is a prophet. AND they are reading the For strength of Youth pamphlet AND the BOM. Kevin even said he wants to be a missionary like us. We are super excited about them. This week i have gotten to work in all of Jipijapa. Both sides of it and it has been super cool to the whole city. I have seriously fallen in love with this city and these people. I LOVE teaching them. They are so great. Sorry I don't have any pictures this week but I might next week.

Fun phrase of the week: Pase lo que pase. means whatever happens happens. I love it. oh and scripture of the week: Matthew 5:44-45. Ponder those. They are cool.

I got to watch the Christmas Devotional last night! And in English too! I LOVED IT. I was on the brink of tears the whole time. The music and the messages were just so great and I just love Christmas in Salt lake city. "Lago Salado" is the phrase for salt lake hahaha. I hope you guys got to watch it!! Elder Bednar said that "Jesus Christ is the light that dispells fear" and I am in love with this quote. I am putting it up on the wall in my apartment. So flipping cool. Dad would love his talk so I he hope watched it.
