This P-day came quick hahaha! Feels like yesterday i was sitting in this cyber writing my dear mother. Im very happy to hear from you. as always
We got to go to the temple on Wednesday!!! It was a suprise. but i wasnt complaining. and i was super happy. we left soooooo flipping early in the morning. but its okay. i got to feel peace and zone everything else out for a few hours. got to feel the undeniable love of my Heavenly Father too. Oh and then we got Mcdonalds. Twas a lovely day indeed.
Im sad to report that in fact i am losing my english. Writing and reading is fine. But talking. oh my gosh. its awful. I think i forgot to tell you this but i have been teaching an english class for the past 5 weeks hahahahah. its been really sweet. I teach about 15 children. they are nuts. but they LOVE the class. And after my class this week we had an activity and we watched Transylvannia. It was hilarious. and we got the best banana bread in the world. BUT the point is is that i can barely speak english now. and this sucks. im just going to apologize in advance for mothers day... which i am anxiously awaiting and i know you are too te he he hehe.
In church on sunday my best friend Ismael shared his testimony in sunday school- which he taught btw.. hes dope- and he was just bawling his eyes out. (side note is that i can barely understand what people are saying when they are crying in spanish) He has been through many many many things with his family. But him and his parents have made a FULL return to the church. They are basically literally converts again. They are amazing. AND they are preparing to be sealed in the temple. And we are gonna ask Ismael how hes feeling about a mission this week. we havent talked about it in like 2 months so i am anxious to hear what he has to say. i promise you guys, I've said this before, that this family (the familia Quiroz) is one of the reasons i am in Jipijapa and ultimately hear in Ecuador.
The familia tumbaco is still just awesome. They come to church on their own, they come to all the activities. they have friendships with the members, participate in all the classes. They are so great. SO SO SO GREAT.
I watched the womens conference but i was having a very hard time paying attention. i had a lot of things on my mind. But i am excited to print the talks out from the conference and read them. Its hard watching conference in spanish hahaha. i just want to watch it in english. The music is my favorite part of conference. for real. it makes me cry. I promise you i will be crying this weekend during conference. i know its going to make me miss you guys a ton. Eat lots of scones for me okay?
I cant wait to get your letters and your packages. I could use a written hug from my mother. ha ha ha
i love simones room! its adorable. and shes adorable. And i LOVE the picture you sent me from last week. i dont know if i already commented on it but i love it. i printed it out and i have it by my desk.
