Mission Christmas Conference

Hi mommy dear :)

Well the most important thing I have to report this week is that me and Hermana Pugh heard Baby by Justin Bieber in a taxi cab. BUT. It was not just Baby. Oh no! It was a flat out Spanish version of Baby. And it was the funniest thing I have ever heard. Me and Hermana Pugh still die over it. And the other funny thing that happened this week was that we were walking down the street and this guy motioned to his little stand that he had and all he said to me was "chez". Ask Luke to pronounce that, I trust he will know how.

Jk I have more important things to tell you don't worry. So We had our Christmas Conference in Guayaquil! And it was awesome. I got to see my whole mission there. 180 something missionaries. and I got to see my bffs from the MTC. So I was super happy. The messages were AMAZING. They spent the whole first like two hours of the conference only talking about Joseph Smith. And I thought this was super awesome. Joseph Smith served his mission for 24 years folks... 24 YEARS. And I thought my mission was hard. lol. This was very very VERY humbling let me tell you. Something that impacted me a lot was that they told us that it's not supposed to be easy". My mission is not supposed to be easy! Nobody's mission is supposed to be easy. It wasn't easy for the Savior, it wasn't easy for Joseph Smith, it's not gonna be easy for me. And that's okay. Because like these men, I have a purpose for serving my Father in Heaven. Everything has a purpose. I just have to Trust in The Lord. That's my mission and life motto if you guys couldn't guess lol.

So get this... last minute on Sunday me and Hermana Pugh had to give a talk in church. Like we found out maybe 4 minutes before the meeting. So I gave an extremely shortened version of my farewell talk- you know the different kinds of missionaries. and yes I cried. I cried because I talked about my parents and how charitable you guys are. Yeah thanks a lot you two. But no it was good. I'm happy to report that I was able to conjure up a 6 or 7 minute talk on missionary work, nice right. Oh and it gets better. We also had to teach RELIEF SOCIETY. MOM I TAUGHT RELIEF SOCIETY IN SPANISH. HA HA!! It was great. We based it off a conference talk. I hope you are proud of me. he he he

Good news mom I am an inspired woman. Earlier in the week we were thinking of who we needed to go visit. And I said oh we should go visit Fausto. (Fausto is this guy we've been working with. He's in his 50's I think I honestly don't know. But he has a testimony of the Book of Mormon and Joseph Smith and he laughs like a 6 year old boy and its hilarious) anyway I just had the random thought to go visit him. And turns out, as we were talking with him he told us that he had called us earlier that day. We looked at our phone and surely enough he had called. I AM INSPIRED. cool I know :)

I am super excited for this package! I am preparing one for you guys too!!! I'll be sending it next week. Hopefully it gets to you! Columbia mail sucks so that's why it took so long but wow I am so happy that you guys got it!!! I'll send letters next week too!

So these pictures. The two girls I'm with are my very best friends from the MTC. Hermana Roylance is the brown headed one and Hermana Phippen is the blondie. They were companions in the MTC. Well, in this picture we are Christmas. Hilarious I know. We laughed for 10 minutes I think hahaha. Also this other pic, this sweet lady that we teach made me a dress and I KNOW you will love it mother.

Well fam, I love you guys. I really do. I am so happy to hear that you guys are doing so well. Congrats with the new job Max!! Tell my sweet sugar I think she is adorable and tell her that she should be happy that Santa gets to come to her because Ecuador is not so lucky ;) lol and tell best friend he's dope. He will understand. I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH. Have SUCH a good week.

LOVE ALWAYS AND FOREVER
