Hello mother,
In honor of my very favorite holiday i painted my toes as american flags, i am wearing my all red dress, i have USA written on my arm (dont worry no one can see it) and me and hermana Cox dedicated our lunch to our country by buying Carls Jr. Hamburgers fries and coke. We are trying to hunt down some fireworks to do later but im guessing we arent going to find any here. hahahaha. I hope you guys have an awesome day. and you all better be keeping up with our traditions. Firework panakukan, the parade, funnel cakes and that super good texas twister juice, the concert behind target (WERE COMIN TO AMERICA...... TODAY) and of course the fireworks. Im dying a little bit because you know this is my favorite holiday ever but im trying to survive. ENJOY THE BEST HOLIDAY EVER FAM. tell dad and brandon he has to sing the comin to america song extra loud this year so i can hear it. hahahahaha
This week went by pretty super flippin fast. We are working with some lovely people. I have a little chubby best friend named Elkin that is 10 that is getting baptized next week. He really is so cool. Ill take pictures with him this week. Weve got a cool dude named Christian that has more problems and more challenges than anyone i know. but the church is changing him. He asks so many questions and he is so smart and i know the spirit is real because there is no other way i would be able to answer this dudes questions hahahahaha. we are going to invite him to be baptized this week (finally). hes one of those people that you just KNOW is going to be killer in the church. We also have my dear sweet ana maria that is dealing with problems with her ex(not actually married) husband. Hes horrible. ugh. Im gonna take pictures with her this week too. Seriously me and hermana Ramalho have managed to find the coolest people ever but are so loaded with challenges that we always just feel so heavy and burdened down after teaching them. Like their problems become our problems and it really takes a toll on us. But we are learning so so so so much about the atonement. And wow we have seen so many miracles. its insane. just little things. the lords hand literally is evident in every part of missionary work. its his work you know.
HAHAHA the funniest thing that happened to me this week was that we were in a lesson with one of our cute less actives Mayerling in her house with her nephew and their dog outside was just barking and barking and it was driving us crazy. and then all of a sudden my companion who doesnt speak barely any english at all stands up and yells SHUT UP at the dog with her cute little accent and the dog just shut up and i cant even tell you how hard i was laughing. i was crying for like ten minutes no joke it was the funniest thing hahahahahahah im cracking up just thinking about it hahahahahahahaha.
On wednesday we are going to meet the new mission pres WOOOOOO. Im stoked. He moved here with some of his kids too. So we are all excited to meet them.
im glad to hear that our family is doing so well. i miss you guys. and im so proud of all of you. youre all great and youre doing such cool things. im jealous. but hey guess what im almost to my 10 months. ahhhhhh. that went by so quick oh my gosh. AHHHHH
