I'm a little behind on my posting. This letter came on November 30th


HI MAMA,

I am doing GREAT. We just had our first transfers and I am officially half way done with training! WOO. I will get to stay in Jipijapa with Hermana Pugh for another six weeks and for the next two we will be in a trio with Hermana Florres and then she will recieve a new companion! kind of weird i know. But hey, i am just happy that i get to stay in Jipijapa for Christmas!

I got the package with the socks! And I LOVED the postcards! And I loved those pictures! I am totally printing them. THANK YOU. I love love love getting stuff from you. And good news, I am sending your guys's official Christmas package TODAY. It has lots of letters in it for you guys and some of my friends. So lol sorry mom but I am putting you in charge of distributing! Hopefully it gets to you guys before Christmas! And I am glad you liked that letter mama. I spent a lot of time on it and shed many tears hahaha.

I LOVED that talk by Sheri Dew. I am kind of obsessed. lol. I have already read it twice. tehehe. Also I have been slacking on scriptures of the week so you guys get two this week! Ether 12:28 and Alma 26:12! ENJOY

Don't worry about shoes mother dear. I will take care of everthing here! For Christmas I am going to attempt to buy myself some fancy handmade covers for my spanish scriptures that this guy in Guayaquil makes. Im spoiled I know. teheheh. Tell nana thank you! I am so grateful for all your support! <3

I hope your Thanksgiving was LOVELY.We didn't even remember it was thanksgiving until night time and so we just stuffed our faces with junk food to celebrate. Its probably good that I didn't remember or else I probably would have had a rough day.

We will skype. Don't you worry. I just dont know when yet. Rumor has it, it might be Christmas Eve. Also, im gonna need you to make me a skype account he he he

So COOLEST experience of my mission thus far. ARE YOU READY? So we have this area book of all the members in the church here. and me and h. pugh were looking for less actives to go visit and we found a couple named Carmen and Juan. And so we went to visit and we met Carmen. She is probably 50 something and her husband probably 60 something. She was anxious to let us come visit. Turns out she and her husband have been less active for 15 years now and NOBODY has come to visit them. And she has 5 kids and none of them are members. THIS IS AWESOME. Ill explain why. We talked to her about the plan of salvation and reminded her of this amazing plan that God has for us. And then we asked her to pray and she just bawled the whole time. She probably hasn't prayed in years. and WE KNOW that she felt the love of our Heavenly Father during that prayer. Because me and Hermnana Pugh both felt it too. SO THEN. A couple days later we met with her and two of her sons Kevin and Juan Pablo. And they are 15 and 17 and both looking for a religion. THEY WERE SO EXCITED TO LISTEN TO US. they were so receptive and so into everthing we were saying. The spirit was so strong. And before we even got halfway through the lesson Kevin asked us when we could come visit thim next week. AND THEN he told us after the lesson that he wanted to come to church with us next week. we didn't even ask him. HE JUST WANTS TO COME. Me and Hermana Pugh left that lesson with the BIGGEST smiles on our faces becasue we KNEW that we had found OUR FAMILY. OUR GOLDEN PERFECT family. We want to reactivate Carmen and Juan and hopefully if all goes well baptize her two sons. That is our goal. This family is so awesome. And we felt like true missionaries. I felt so happy. This is what missionary work is all about. Getting families to the temple! Please keep them in your prayers, because they sure as heck will be in mine!!
